The Revolutionary Power of Women

November 24, 2021 – Palazzo Carignano

Throughout the centuries, women have found themselves in a society where they were in a position of inequality compared to men. Courage and determination have been their weapons, and knowledge their shield. Fighting against a rigid and calcified social and political structure has meant humiliation, deprivation, and even death for many women. We have decided to speak about them, seeking to identify the revolutionary powers they embodied and drawing inspiration from their spirit in the creation of the jewelry that is the focus of our new cultural project.

The Revolutionary Power of Women

Cultural and Artistic Project

Throughout the centuries, women, as women, have found themselves in a society where they were in a position of inequality compared to men. They have always had to fight to find their own space to fulfill their dreams and achieve their goals. Courage and determination have been their weapons, and knowledge their shield.

Fighting against immature times, against a rigid and calcified social and political structure, against a culture that relegated them to a narrow space that stifled their full development. For many women, all of this has meant humiliation, deprivation, and even the loss of life.

History tends to favor the stories of achievements made by men, but there are countless women who have been able to achieve incredible results, gifting all of us great accomplishments from which we still benefit today, opening a gap that, fortunately, cannot be undone.

We have decided to speak about them, seeking to identify the revolutionary powers they embodied and drawing inspiration from their spirit in the creation of the jewelry featured in our new cultural project.

Safe travels!

Palazzo Carignano

Palazzo Carignano (Palass Carignan in Piedmontese), officially named Palazzo dei Principi di Carignano, is a historic building in the center of the city of Turin, a fine example of Piedmontese Baroque architecture.

Together with the Royal Palace and Palazzo Madama, it is one of the most important historical buildings in the city and, like these, it is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Residences of the Royal House of Savoy.” It was the historic seat of the Subalpine Parliament (1848-1861) and the first Parliament of the Kingdom of Italy (1861-1864).
