This collection is an invitation for you to wear a cosmic language that unites the celestial Nebula with our earthly butterflies as they dance and shine. The shapes and volumes of this collection create distinctive features that are easily recognizable in this language: the swelling and deflating of the lines, the surface multiplicity of the material, shaped by different processing techniques and the desire to amaze. A new form of matter that immortalizes the moment when a butterfly folds its wings to take flight and that remains etched in our hearts like a melody, whose origins, we don’t know but, nonetheless, merges and conquers us.
The Butterfly Nebula is located 3,800 light years from the Sun, in the constellation of Scorpio. Its wings are formed by gas and dust expelled by the stars that shine in the centre of the nebula, over the course of 2200 years. According to astronomers, the particular shape of the two nebulae is due to the presence within them of pairs of stars. These stars rotate around each other through a spiralling motion: a real cosmic dance that models spectacular colourful designs.
