This collection is an invitation for you to wear a cosmic language that unites the luminous Orion nebula (Messier 42) with the incredible colours present in the rocky conformations of the Montagne de Siete Colores in the Andes of Peru.
The juxtaposition in this cosmic language with the precious South American Tourmalines is immediate: these multicoloured gems engage the entire known colour spectrum. What if the colours we know were a direct manifestation of the Cosmos?
Within the womb of the Orion Constellation are the most mystical and renowned of the nebulae in the known universe: Messier 42 is an immense cosmic cloud of gas and dust. It is known to be the closest star forming region to the Solar System. It was first observed by the ancient Maya civilization, who believed it to be the cosmic fire of creation, but it was a Frenchman, Charles Messier, who recognized and catalogued its characteristics.
M42 takes on the brightest colours of the universe and is one of the most studied and known nebulae, due to its role as a “forger” of stars. Within it, in fact, there are about 700 stars in the making that are in different stages of development.
